Yes! We only source from carefully selected plants and extract the highest quality ingredients from them. 

We source essential oils from more than 30 countries around the world and we always make sure to choose the places that grow the highest quality ingredients. All of our oil blends are designed and processed in Japan as we tend to feature more Asian scents and ingredients than any other brands.

None of our essential oils are tested on animals. They are all plant-based products. Vorda shares your concerns that personal care products should not be tested on animals. We offer the highest quality essential oils available for caring customers seeking natural and cruelty-free products.  

Most essential oils never expire. However, for optimal aromatic performance, we recommend that you use up our essential oils within a year of opening them. Store them in a cool and dry place away from direct sunlight. 

Only our single note essential oils can be used topically as our blends sometimes contain botanicals not meant for skin. Please absolutely ensure to DILUTE the essential oil with carrier oils, with the ratio between 1 part essential oil, 100 parts carrier oil.

We recommend using Vorda wood diffusers to quietly diffuse the aroma. It is a natural way to enjoy vivid aroma within small areas. We also recommend using other good quality aroma diffusers to maximize the scent. Please note that some humidifiers only has humidifying function and may not diffuse the scent. 

In general, a 100 to 300 square foot space can be easily filled with pleasant aroma within a few minutes using just 5-8 drops of Vorda essential oil. You can adjust the amount for a strong or light scent. Place multiple diffusers for rooms larger than 500 square feet. 

No, samples are not refundable. They are intended for tester use, allowing customers to experience the product before purchasing a full-size version. This policy ensures that all customers receive fresh and unused samples.

No, the use of plastics is harmful to our earth. We are committed to a natural and sustainable way of enjoying aromatherapy, so there are no plastics in the wood diffuser or its packaging.

Pro: Wood diffusers are silent, portable, and energy saving. They save energy, generate no mist/humidity, contains no plastics, and is recyclable with lumber. Without using water like mist diffusers, the scent of essential oils are diffused in its purest form without dilution. It is more pet friendly since, without the use water, there is no need to worry about essential oil mist droplets collecting on pets' fur.

Con: Diffusion capacity is relatively low since it is a passive way of spreading scent. The diffuser also cannot be used in large open areas, and cannot be used with fragrance oils, home fragrances, or diluted oils.

Unfornately no, all essential oils are sold separately on our online shop, or in our bundle deals.

No, we strongly suggest not using diluted essential oils on Vorda wood diffusers. The aroma diffusion will be far less effective than when using pure essential oils. In addition, some diluted essential oils actually damages natural and unprocessed woods. 

We only use Japanese cypress (Hinoki), German Beech, Canadian Walnut, African Rosewood and Latin Purpleheart to make the wood diffusers. Our tests indicate that these specific wood types perform best with 100% pure essential oils, and these woods are also the most unique in color and pattern. These premium woods are sustainably sourced from farm forests that grow and regrow trees specifically for commercial use.

The Vorda wood diffuser is a natural alternative to diffuse essential oils, thus the diffusion capacity is limited when compared to electronic diffusers and humidifiers. In general, the Vorda wood diffuser diffuses aromas of high quality pure essential oils within 10-12 feet, or fill in a room within 80sf to 120 sf. The Vorda wood diffuser promotes tranquility to our customers; it is child and pet friendly, safe and quiet, and does not require any plugs, cords, or water!

Though you can switch scents after waiting between 72-96 hours to let the scent fully leave the wood diffuser, we highly recommend sticking to one essential oil, of at least not change scents too frequently. The natural wood will continuously absorb oils and disperse aromas for longer periods of time the longer you stick to using one essential oil. 

Wood diffusers are a better alternative to mist diffusers because there is no need to worry about droplet forming in the air and ultimately hurting your beloved pets from them ingesting essential oils that have gotten on their fur. Aside from the African Rosewood, essential oil is absorbed almost immediately by the other three wood types so there is no worries of spillage either. However, we strongly suggest researching which oils may be sensitive to the type of animal you have.

We suggest gently wiping with a dry cloth to get rid of dust when necessary. Please do not wash the wood diffuser, it will damage the natural unprocessed wood. 

Our teas are packaged to preserve freshness and quality in a variety of shipping and storage conditions. To ensure the best taste from our teas, we recommend you consume them within 8 weeks once opened. For unused tea items, you can refer to the “best before” date on the canister or package 

All of our current teas are gluten-free and vegan, and our tea bag materials also contain no gluten. 

We recommend that you keep your products in an airtight container away from moisture and direct sunlight for best flavor retention and freshness. 

In general, all teas are rich in antioxidants, which are thought to help suppress free radical activity in our body and keep our defenses strong. Certain fruits, herbs and teas such as strawberry, hibiscus and matcha contain a higher number of antioxidants.  

All Vorda teas are GMO-free.
