Wood Diffusers vs. Water-based Diffusers

When you think of diffusers, does your mind immediately go to those little machines that you have to fill with water, some essential oil, and then plug it in? Water-based diffusers are definitely the most common type of diffusers used around. But did you know that diffusers don’t always have to use water or even electricity? This is where wood diffusers come in. You might have heard of them before or not, but we are here today to supply you with information about why you should choose wood diffusers over water-based diffusers.

But first, let us give you a brief summary on those water-based diffusers. The water is necessary to dilute the concentrated essential oil and create a mist out of the machine. In turn, this mist fills the room with its aroma. What most of these little machines have in common is that they need water and electricity to run, and they are made up mostly of plastic. As a matter of fact, each diffuser is made from a single block of wood. The high quality wood material also makes this diffuser super sturdy. If it falls over from a table or shelf, no worries! Pick it back up and it can continue diffusing back the way it was.

The biggest pro of having an all natural wood diffuser would have to be the equipment it needs, which is just essential oil and that’s it! These wood diffusers do not need any water or electricity. No more having to worry if there is enough water in the machine or if the water is clean. No more accidentally bumping into the diffuser and spilling out the contents. Plus, water and electricity are a dangerous combination. The risk of spilling water near the outlet is very high. But you don’t have to worry about all that with this wood diffuser!
